A couple weeks ago I got the opportunity to head to London with Burberry for the launch of their spring beauty collection during London Fashion Week. I read the email about fifty times in shock that it was actually addressed to me, before I proceeded to freak out, and instantly responded YES...of course I will fly to London with you to play with makeup.

We stayed at the Hotel Cafe Royal, which is in the Soho area of London and was stunning. Gold interior with white marble floor to ceiling bathrooms (I was in heaven), and it was in great central location close to Trafalgar Square, Carnaby Street and transit lines. The staff was extremely accommodating and the food was also amazing, big bonus points for me. If you're traveling to London and want to splurge on a luxury hotel, I'd definitely recommend Hotel Cafe Royal. Not just saying that because they gave me the most delicious chocolate dessert when I arrived that I ended up devouring in about 10 minutes straight.

I arrived to London a couple days early to do some solo-exploring, and then met up with the Burberry team and the rest of the influencers for their beauty event. We headed to the Burberry Flagship Store on Regent St. which was literally a palace, watched Wendy Rowe (Beauty Expert and Makeup Artist for Burberry) teach a Master Class on the looks used during the Burberry London Fashion Week show, and then we had a chance to play around with the makeup ourselves.

We toured the runway collection and it was so incredible seeing the capes worn in the show the night before. Between the music playing and atmosphere, you could feel the London Fashion week energy. Check out these capes...I've never seen so many diamonds on one piece of clothing in my entire life.

The rest of my time was spent being an ultra-tourist on the Hop on Hop Off bus, exploring Camden Market and Notting Hill, and shopping on Oxford street. I was most excited by Superdrug and went a little crazy buying UK makeup, check out my makeup first impressions video here.
