Well, packing minimally has already failed. Clearly I don't trust that Jordanians have makeup, hair dye, or deodorant, so the drugstores got some business today. Among todays purchases were a $1.00 fan that probably wouldn't cool off a fly let alone a human being in 100+ degrees, bug spray [picked out by dad], and 2 power adapter sets [again, picked out by dad]. I assigned him the fun shopping duties. Also, today I took a trip to the tailors to get 20 long skirts and dresses [Jordan-appropriate clothing] altered. The lady asked me if I was going to a funeral. Glad she found my wardrobe for the next 9 months so visually appealing.
I love this damn product so much that I'm sacrificing my sleep to write this blog post. This isn't going to be an in-depth review, so if that's what you're looking for...google that shit.
The Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Beige is from the new Fall 2012 collection [limited edition-get your ass to Rite Aid ASAP because you won't want to miss out on this bad boy]. I picked it up for $6.69 in the "look at our new shit" section at Rite Aid.
Since I bought it, I've been using this product every day as a base, before applying eyeshadow. It's the MOST GORGEOUS shimmery nude color, comparable to MAC's Paint Pot in Bare Study.
Oh hey arm, What up.
Oh hey face, What up.
As always, I'm gonna be straight up with a review. I was contacted by cutefinds.com to do a jewelry review and at first glance, I wasn't that into it because it just looked like another mizoutlet.com, or cheap jewelry site like all the others. However, two things stood out to me. The first being that there is $2 flat rate shipping to the U.S. and Canada [um, yeah fucking amazing], and the second being that the website was started by Kathy, a senior in high school, which I think is awesome. Kathy was cool enough to send me a couple pieces to giveaway, and give you guys 40% off your order with the code "thataylaa"!

Since I'm going to traveling a lot in the upcoming months, I decided it was time I invest in a brush roll. And by "invest in", I mean "spend $10 on". I had been looking at the Sigma, Crown Brush, and Sedona Lace brush rolls but wasn't about to spend $50 on a damn leather thing that rolls and is most likely made in China. So being the thrifty person I am [or like to think of myself as], I did some eBay research.
Clearly the brown ones are made of a different material (most likely goat hair or some shit that should not be placed on your face). They are extremely scratchy and those puppies went straight into the trash.
My night was made when I found out that my Sigma, Sedona Lace, and elf brushes all are able to fit into the brush roll. Is it sad that that made my night? Probably. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this case to anyone looking for an affordable brush roll with some pretty good quality brushes as an added bonus!

I ended up buying this MAC "inspired" leather brush roll that came with 24 brushes for $10.82 and free shipping. I was expecting the brushes to become best friends with my trash can while just keeping the brush roll case, however, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of most of the brushes.
The brushes come individually wrapped in plastic, with nice and long black handles with the [obviously fake but none-the-less cute] MAC logo printed on them. The case has a nice leather flap which folds down to protect your brushes and keep them secured in the case.
Like I said earlier, I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the brushes. They're no Sigma, but I would compare them to elf (eyeslipsface.com) quality. I am happy with all of the brushes except the brown ones pictured below.

Day 3 at one of my favorite places on earth [disclosed location due to creepers]. Clue: it's a lake. If you couldn't tell by the below picture.
My day consisted of almost getting stuck out in the middle of a lake on a log. Yes, a log. Felt like I was in Cast Away... except way less dramatic. Me being my 20 year old self thought it was a great idea to listen to my 10 and 13 year old cousins, and swim out to a jumping pole....while holding onto a log. Long story short, the wind picked up, it looked like a downpour was about to take place, and we're stuck on a fucking log. I was never a fan of Kayaks until today. Two oh-so-kind middle-aged people towed in 3 kids [yes, I am included in that category due to the fact that they asked me where our parents were...another proud moment of the day], and rescued us from that damn log. So I now raise my glass of classy $5 Carlo Rossi, and toast to a damn Kayak. #YOLO
Before you read this, watch my video unboxing/review so I have less to explain. Thanks.
So now that you've spent 8 minutes of your life watching me open a box, how do you feel? Ready to get your own Little Black Bag? I DID end up returning the bag because I felt like a little girl carrying her mom's purse [that was one big ass purse], but I am very happy with LBB's customer service and quick email response. They gave me a prorated refund (about $37), so if you think about it, I got a Cargo blush for $13! ($50-$37 for those of you who didn't catch that). I sent back the bag, and about 8 days later they contacted me and I had received a refund back to my card. So A+ on customer service! Like I mentioned in the video, I cancelled my LBB after the first month. It was super easy to cancel, can be done all online, and was hassle-free. Super happy with LBB as a company, and my first month's service!
This is my first blog post...ever, and i've gotta say I'm pretty pissed that i've only got 7 font choices. We're gonna have to go with Courier until I get tech-y and figure out how to do this shit. My grammar is probably already breaking multiple blogging rules, but to hell with it. I'm not a fan of rules anyways. I just tried to hit the "tab" key, and that failed. First thing I learned: bloggers do not blog in paragraph format. Anywhoo, why'd I just say anywhoo? That word is on my top 5 worst words of all times list. Anyways [much better], I hope you enjoy following me on my journey of Youtube, blogging, makeup-swatching, and ranting.[What has my life turned in to?] On this blog I will be posting pretty much whatever the hell I feel inclined to post, mostly relating to makeup, fashion, traveling, daily discoveries, and the best thing in life: food. or is it nail polish? Close tie. Until next post, layla tov :)[good night in Hebrew]
